Name of the creature: Pedelio (Pedes; Walking + Papilio; Butterfly = Pedelio; Walking Butterfly) Size: Around 4 feet Usual habitat: Forests Diet: Anything that's small and eats bugs Temperment: Usually very calm and peaceful creatures, they are better being observed from afar. They like their space and are very territorial with what they call "home." Pedelio's can get very aggressive when approached, and will flee in an instant. They do not fight unless cornered, fearful of damaging their wings. Though, if they are protecting their kin or their master, they will stand by and fight until death, or until their master is safe, even to the expense of their wings. Pedelio's put a lot of effort into grooming themselves, and strive to look their best at any given time. If they're not grooming, they're usually sleeping in the company of other butterflies or their master. Other: A Pedelio's mane and tail consists of many butterfly wings, each having the capability of moving by itself, in correlation to its symmetrical opposite. A Pedelio is very lightweight and fragile, and can easily be picked up. It is not advised to pick one up though, considering their wings can be crushed very easily. Though Pedelio's have many wings, they cannot fly, but they can glide if need be. Pedelio's come in many different colors, with many different types of wings. They don't have a mixture though, and each Pedelio is restricted to one butterfly specie. Pedelio's eat frogs, lizards, and birds, because such creatures disgust them considering they eat butterflies. They don't eat much though, and their favorite snack is honey.
